How to sign up for events on Medtribe.
Finding an Event
Before you can register, you need to find an event:
- Browse events on Medtribe
- Search for topics you're interested in
- Filter by date, location, or format
- Click on an event to see details

The Registration Process
Step 1: Review Event Details
Before registering, check:
- Date and time - Does it work for you?
- Location or format - In-person or online?
- Requirements - Any prerequisites?
- What you'll learn - Is it relevant?
- Price - Can you afford it?
Step 2: Select Your Ticket
Most events have ticket options:
- Standard - Regular admission
- Early Bird - Discounted early registration
- Discounted - For specific groups (e.g., NHS staff)
Choose the ticket that applies to you.
Step 3: Complete the Booking Form
You'll be asked for:
Required Information:
- Your name
- Email address
- Contact details
Optional Information:
- Organisation
- Job title
- Professional registration number
- Dietary requirements
- Accessibility needs
Custom Questions:
- The organiser may ask specific questions
- Answer honestly and completely
Step 4: Add Extras (If Available)
Some events offer extras:
- Lunch or refreshments
- Printed materials
- Parking
- Additional sessions
Select what you need.
Step 5: Payment (If Required)
For paid events:
- Enter your payment details
- Review the total amount
- Complete payment securely
- Receive confirmation

After Registration
Access Your Booking
- Log into Medtribe
- Go to My Bookings
- Find your event
- View all details
What You Can Do
From your booking, you can:
- View event details
- Access joining information
- Download your QR code
- Update some details
- Request cancellation
Event Reminders
You'll receive reminders:
- Usually 1-2 days before the event
- Include joining instructions
- Any last-minute updates
If the Event is Full
Join the Waitlist
If an event is sold out:
- Click Join Waitlist
- Enter your details
- You'll be notified if a space opens
- Accept quickly to secure your place
Waitlist Process
- Spaces open when others cancel
- You're offered a place in order
- Limited time to accept
- If you miss it, next person is offered
Troubleshooting
Didn't Receive Confirmation
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify you used the correct email
- Log into Medtribe to check booking exists
- Contact the event organiser
Payment Issues
- Check your card details
- Try a different payment method
- Contact your bank if declined
- Reach out to event organiser
Wrong Details Submitted
- Go to My Bookings
- Click on your booking
- Update editable fields
- Or contact the organiser
