Certificates

Medtribe allows you to automatically generate certificates for attendees who complete your events. This guide covers certificate creation, templates, and delivery.

Certificate Templates

Create certificate templates that can be reused across multiple sessions:

  1. Go to Event ManagementCertificates
  2. Click Create Template
  3. Design your certificate:
    • Name – Template name
    • Layout – Choose a design
    • Fields – Add dynamic fields (attendee name, course name, date, etc.)
    • Accreditation Points – Include CPD/accreditation points if applicable
  4. Save the template

Attaching Certificates to Schedules

Link certificates to specific sessions:

  1. Open your session
  2. Go to Certificate settings
  3. Select a certificate template
  4. Configure options:
    • Require Survey – Only issue certificate if survey is completed
    • Require Attendance – Only issue if attendee attended all days
  5. Save settings

Automatic Certificate Generation

Certificates are automatically generated when:

Certificates are generated in the background and emailed to attendees automatically.

Manual Certificate Generation

You can also generate certificates manually:

  1. Go to your session
  2. Navigate to Certificates
  3. Select attendees
  4. Click Generate Certificates
  5. Certificates are created and sent

Viewing Certificates

For Attendees

Attendees can view their certificates:

  1. Log in to their account
  2. Go to My Certificates
  3. View all certificates
  4. Download PDF copies

For Event Organizers

View certificates issued for your events:

  1. Open your event
  2. Go to Certificates section
  3. See all issued certificates
  4. Download or resend if needed

Certificate Delivery

Certificates are automatically emailed to attendees when generated. The email includes:

Resending Certificates

To resend a certificate:

  1. Find the certificate in your list
  2. Click Resend
  3. Certificate email is sent again

Accreditation Points

If your event awards CPD or accreditation points:

  1. Set accreditation points in your event settings
  2. Points are automatically included on certificates
  3. Points are tracked in attendee profiles
